Bursaries for up to £100 have been kindly sponsored by Glasgow Archaeological Society and Past Horizons. For information on the criteria and conditions of each bursary, please see below.

Glasgow Archaeological Society
Glasgow Archaeological Society are offering 5 student bursaries of £100 each to support attendance at Scottish Archaeological Forum's 2023 conference. GAS fosters public awareness of the importance of archaeology in increasing our understanding of the past through its website, lectures, excursions, journal, newsletters and correspondence. During the months of October to April, the society organizes a series of monthly lectures at Glasgow University by speakers from Britain and abroad
Applicants must be a current student at University of Glasgow. Successful applicants will be asked to write a short report for the society's newsletter, A Touch of GAS, and include the GAS logo on any presentation given at the conference.
Past Horizons
Past Horizons are offering 1 bursary of £100 to support attendance at Scottish Archaeological Forum's 2023 conference. Past Horizons supplies archaeology equipment across the world, to individuals, universities, museums, professional contractors and amateur groups.
Applicants do not need to be a student. Successful applicants will be asked to include the Past Horizons logo on any presentation given at the conference.
